super nice staff. nice layout for a bargain-priced public course. greens overall in pretty decent shape. tight fairways, lots of bunkers-- fairly challenging.

Would travel: 10-20 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Valley Brook is a Bergen County Golf Course. Accordingly, it is very difficult to get a good tee time. You must call the system over and over to get a tee time other them 4pm.

Tip of the day. If the course has received heavy rain within a day or two of your tee time, you may want to reconsider playing. Vally Brook does not drain well. The course gets unplayable if there has been a lot of recent rain.
